A sound only available from a guitar made of all solid tone woods. A sound which by virtue of the solid tone woods and natural finish, will continue to improve and mature with the player.

This guitar is a perfect companion for any classical student and is well able to live up to the demands of playing from grade 1 to grade 8. The Studio Classic is equally at home with Bossa, gypsy jazz and for anyone who would follow Charlie Byrd and Laurindo Almaida and any other of the great exponents of nylon string polyphonic jazz guitar.

Each MOONDOG instrument is set up individually by our in house luthier.

This set up is rigorous, it includes the following:

Nut and saddle adjustment.
Perfect adjustment to weight balance on pick up to ensure a perfect volume balance across the strings
Redressing of frets to perfect smoothness.
Your guitar will arrive ready to play and with perfect action, intonation, and finish.

This guitar is a refreshing counterpoint to the brashly made, over varnished and profoundly dead guitars being churned out in this price range, as an excuse for a properly made instrument.

As is our mission at Moondog we have kept the price to a minimum in order to allow this guitar in to the hands of as many player as possible. This guitar comes with a custom made Fibreglass case befitting the quality and value of this instrument.
